Zeus by Eden Finley is the newest addition to the Mike Bravo series. Zeus has no issue taking on an off book mission but is shocked when his boss asks him to hunt down Callie, the man behind so much chaos in their lives. Callie doesn't want to be found and thinks if he can just keep running, the past won't catch up with him. Zeus doesn't just find Callie though, he gets completely caught up in the trouble he's in and with the man himself. As a self proclaimed f-boy Zeus doesn't expect Callie to impact him so much but with all the Mike Bravo men falling, is Zeus the next victim to fall hard for the broken man?

Zeus has been a fun character to get to know because there is so much more to him than his perceived persona. His history has made him jaded towards love and believes he's safer just keeping his encounters fun, fast and physical. Callie throws him because all of a sudden he has this intense need to protect a man who has caused his found family pain in the past. But everyone deserves redemption and Callie is no different. As a victim of domestic abuse Callie struggles to see his worth. Zeus steps in and helps guide him towards the path of forgiving himself. The two are adorable together because although Zeus doesn't like to see it, Callie brings comfort to him and the feelings bloom fast.

"I'm not worth fighting for," I whisper.
"That's what you think," Zeus says.

Mike Bravo is a fun world of explosions, chaos and love. The family at Mike Bravo continue to support each other through absolutely anything and that isn't any different for Zeus and Callie. The men are struggling to see their nose beyond their faces when it comes to their budding relationship but everyone around them wants to see them happy and settled. Trauma plays a role in both men's lives and while it helps them understand each other it also puts up roadblocks as they try to figure out next steps in their lives.
