Back in 1982 the 14-year old me had become a real metalhead and was ready for whatever Metal that came my way. A friend of mine lent me his copy of Swedish metal-rockers Heavy Load's second album Death Or Glory, an album I taped and listened to to death before buying my own copy of the album. When the band released the follow-up Stronger Than Evil in 1983 I bought it without hearing a note. I regretted that because I found the album underwhelming and the only thing I dug with it was the fact that they managed to get Philip Lynott (Thin Lizzy) to play bass on one of the songs. I later sold my copy in a second-hand record store. After that things became real quiet from Heavy Load's camp and after releasing a single, "Monsters Of The Night" in 1985, the band split up.
