May has been a major month. So many great new releases, and The Indy Review has had its best month EVER, so thank you to everyone who has visited, shared our posts, and hopefully discovered some new music on our little site. We hope to send May off with a bang!
Helping us to do that is a slew of new albums we're excited to share with you. We have the debut album from Jon Muq (read our review here) and classic band Crowded House (read that review here). Site friend Imogen Clark is now a U.S. resident and sharing her latest album, and actress/songstress Maya Hawke's new album is worth a listen. Finally, we're playing the newest album from mellow folkie Waiting for Smith.
And there are some huge new singles out today, starting off with the return (and possible farewell) of Slim Shady (Eminem). Alternative greats Foster the People and Snow Patrol have unleashed new ones, and TheMenzingers are boosting their last album with a coming Deluxe version containing new tracks (and we've got one of them). American Aquarium have dropped another great song from their coming album, as have The Early November. Punks Diesel Boy have dropped two new singles, and ska goofballs The Aquabats have made their long-awaited return.
Other Indy Review NMF alums sharing new tracks this week include Safari Gold, Charly Bliss, Shower Beers, The Rolling People, Sea Girls, Flora Cash, Wild Yaks, Under the Rug, FrenchCassettes, Trabants, Craig Benedict Valentine Badynee, Prinz Grizzly, Eddie Witz and The Most High, FENCES \\\\, A Day to Remember, BoyWithUke, AWOLNATION, Jon Foreman, Rare Americans, Jeff Draco, Super American, Daniel Nunnelee, Buffalo Tom, Manu Chao, Donavon Frankenreiter and Shwayze.
And joining our list for the first time are moonstone., Dennis del Kennedy, Delights, Culture Wars, robbietheused, Katherine Perkins, Rodeo Mouth, Abstract Crimewave, Stones Speak, MAITA, Dead End Finland, Beya, Rob Baird, David Picco, Alan Walker, Keram, Annie Bacon &Her Oshen, Greebo, Vacant Weekend and Poppy Wizard.
We hope you enjoy listening and following our New Music Friday Playlist to hear all of these new tunes!
