We are at the more then halfway point for this season and I still feel like "where did my season" go? All of these episodes are now at halfway or more past their episode run times and that can mean everything or nothing if the entire show just falls on its face in the end after the promise it used to have. I think most of these shows are going to be fine though because they are still pretty strong even if I don't like some of them as much as others.

Train to the End of the World Episode 7
This episode was pretty wild and does share a general connecting tissue with the stops the cast has stayed with for a while. The 7g has allowed lonely people to build their own dream societies. In this one, Kuroki lives her perfect life as the Queen of zombies and didn't fall for the three's attempts at hiding amongst the zombies, At the same time, these are zombies who die from erotism like a girl's panty shot or a girl saying erotic things. Plus, Shizuru has gotten out of situations by saying what would be embarrassing for others. It still hasn't gotten too far, but I'm a bit worried about it now.
Spice and Wolf: merchant meets the wise wolf Episode 7
The cool down and the start of the next season has begun. Especially with Holo still being in Lawrence's debt. They did visit a boring city that is super religious and Holo helped Lawrence out of a crazy deal. Plus, the two did work and reflect with each other and got some armor to train. Plus travel and the appearance of a cute Sheppard girl. Just a lot of good set up for what continues next.
Urusei Yatsura (2022) Season 2 Episode 18
It's interesting to see say to say this show could be the most Urusei Yatsura possible, but this one definitely is. This is a Shinobu episode where she's asked by Inaba to be his partner for his time advancement exam. Of course, Lum and Ataru are there because of course to get everything explained to them and they are bored by it. The test was a couple's exam where hot women are at every corner and Inaba has to show his loyalty. It was really romantic in the end because Shinobu did find her partner. It's a good time.
Delicious in Dungeon Episode 20
Definitely an episode with Itzutsumi getting to know how to work as a team and possibly become a little less picky. I mean, Chilchuck and her were pretty great together when defeating the ice golem. Plus, she at least connected a little bit with Marcille when fighting the wolves in the cold. Plus Senshi teaching her manners. The only one she hasn't connected with is Liaos besides all the slashing. Something to think about. Still, such a great episode once again.
Wonderful Precure Episode 16
We all knew that Iroha would have most of her Precure plot revealed to her parents and probably everyone else eventually. She has only one brain cell like her parents after all. Of course it started with Komugi in human form calling Iroha's mom normally. Then Meymey is there and just ruins it. That talk itself was kind of fun though and Meymey did a good job of letting her parents know. Plus, Nyammy helping the bird get the garugaru egg out of its nest and then the quick precure capture match was kind of fun. Also, Crayon Shinchan were randomly in this episode too. Though the important thing of the Mirror rock and Mayu wishing on it was the important part.
BARTENDER: Glass of God Episode 7
This was an interesting episode of failure. Chen's father has returned and wants to take him back to Singapore to run a hotel. Despite the effort Cheek took to share his passion and the father saying he made a perfect drink, nothing was convincing so there is a deep sadness in all of it. Sasakura also failed to come up with good welcome drinks for the hotel that stopped asking to hire him. It's going to be interesting to see where everything connects from here in that zone of failure.
Laid-back Camp: Season 3 Episode 7
This episode was simply Aki and Aoi sharing what they remember about their bus camping trip to Nadeshiko while cutting wood. Usually we are alongside for the adventure, so it's different and pretty hilarious to see how this show bends reality to see what people do and don't remember. As usual, it's a good time but in a slightly different way. Especially since this is only the first part. Can't wait to see more.
Astro Note Episode 7
Just a pure fun episode with some deep sorrow from Aoi who Takumi just can't remember her at all despite the two talking to each other. Though to be fair, Aoi was such a huge stalker that I think there should be some natural pay off to that. This was the supposed insect date episode for a key that tasuke made which could have been the royal key. But, it was just a good time to see Mira and Takumi have such great chemistry while having an insect eating contest with Shoin and Aoi in the corner watching it happen with such sadness. But still, really enjoy the community aspect of it still.
The Fable Episode 7
This episode really set the stakes at a high level for this show. Especially since Kojima, the guy who was in prison for 15 years, was let loose after his boss was in the hospital. That includes bribing money from Sato for him to continue living there, taking Takahashi the whimp over his wing, and murdering a guy who extorted him 15 years ago. So he is a loose canon that is going to get worse and that provides some entertainment though I think Sato will defeat him pretty quickly. Sato is also still working his job and the creepy guy is still heavily creeping on Misaki who survived in a drunk Yoko's house. Hmmm. But some really good interesting bits of drama there.
Jellyfish Can't Swim At Night Episode 8
This episode was about the future of these girls because it was revealed they are on their third year and have to come up with what they are going to do next. That means that the crew is going to pair up a bit because there are two highschool girls that go to school and 2 that don't. It was pretty fun seeing Kano and Kiui learn to ride a motorcycle in driver's training, though I don't really like Koharu the 20 something that asked about both of their boob sizes and such though I see the reason why she was in it. Mei and Mahiru spending time talking while Mahiru made a painting of Mei was pretty low key and great though. Same with Kano showing up on a motorcycle and taking Mahiru on a date to the beach. So was 80% a good episode with Koharu loosening that a bit.
Sound Euphonium Season 3 Episode 7
I watched this episode in the morning and it's now later in the afternoon because I wanted to get my thoughts together on it. This episode, like the rest of them, was a lot. It was the first competition and Kitauji managed to get gold and move on to the next round. Also, more auditions happened. But the episode focused on Kumiko going to a college event to hopefully figure out what she wants to do, though I think she's ignoring the obvious trait of becoming a teacher. At least, that is what I think she should become.
There was also Kumiko going to the pool with her bass section and Kumiko and we get into more insight on Mayu who feels like a completely empty shell that only exists to make other people happy. Something which Kumiko could feel because she used to be that way until she found more of her own personality. Also, Kumiko's sister and two senpai (Yuuko and Natsuki) showed up for their own little inputs on Kumiko's career and the band's future. So many quiet but important moments through out the episode. This show is the one that constantly makes me think too much about it.
Kaiju No. 8 Episode 7
It was everyone's first large battle and it was so well animated. Kafka falling behind because of his only 1% suit usage did weight everyone down while the other guys did fun and Kikoru just showed how awesome she was. Though Kafka did look up kaiju details in the middle of combat which allowed him to at least provide useful information to all the guys in combat. It was a battle of Yonju and Mina just obliterating the Honju with her weapon that would create the second phase when more Yonju appear. I wonder how this show will handle it when everything goes wrong in the end. This is a wonderful adaptation so far and very well directed with giving side characters more time to be themselves.
