If you'd like more info, head over to the announcement post! Hello, reader! My slow return to blogging life continues! I'm really trying to come up with a schedule for myself because I have lost the groove and it's taking me a minute to get back into it 😅 I figure if I have some kind of schedule, that will kick my overachiever gene into drive and compel me to actually sit down and write. Today begins that schedule which is great for me because it's a 5 On My TBR day! The theme for this week is beach reads, a very fitting topic as we settle in summer. A beach read can honestly be anything you read while chilling on a beach, but when I hear the term, I always think of thrillers and romances. I've dug through my ever-expanding TBR and found five in particular that are calling to me this summer. Now let me share them with you! #1. A Novel Love Story by Ashley Poston First of all, can we talk about how much I love this cover?? The colors! The font! The everything! I also happen to love this authors' works, so I'm eager to pick up her new romance. The fact that it's about a woman that finds herself lost in the literal town from her favorite romance series makes me want to read it even more! I love a book about books or with bookish themes, so this is really set up to be an absolute winner for me. #2. Middle of the Night by Riley Sager I quite literally own every single book that Riley Sager has written. Guess how many I've read? One 😅 Look, the hype got me when it comes to this author's books! I will say, though, I did enjoy the one book of his that I did read, so I see no reason to end my Sager collection, haha. This book deals with a man going back to his childhood home, where his best friend went missing when they were only ten. Of course, now strange things are happening that may be related to that long ago disappearance. | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
