Independent bottler Boutique-y says it's on a mission to simplify whisky, announcing a new core range that celebrates the diversity of the category.
The move marks a change of direction from the brand, which for the past decade has focused on sourcing rare and limited liquids.
The lineup comprises single malts from Islay, Speyside, and the Highlands, as well as Blended Grain Whisky and (in acknowledgement of the brand's Head of Whisky, Sam Simmons), a Canadian Corn Whisky.
Crafted in small 1000 700ml bottle batches, none have been chill filtered or artificial coloured. All have been bottled at 45.8% ABV.
Boutique-y, noted for its graphic labels hand-illustrated by Emily Chappell, was named Independent bottler of the year in the 2023 Spirit Business Awards, with Simmons named Blender of the Year.
The line-up comprises Single Malts from Islay, Speyside, and the Highlands, as well as Blended Grain Whisky and a Canadian Corn Whisky...
