I love seeing these in their colorful form around the neighborhood. They're always so pretty.
Still working on Bound by Danger. Just have one grandkiddo today and we plan to have a longer pool day this morning. The other pool is much smaller, the larger one being cleaned on Mondays. So the smaller one is cleaned on Tuesdays. That means it has more debris in it and more people. An 8-year-old boy jerked my 3-year-old grandson's pool noodle away from him and then sat on it like it had been his all along with his back to my grandson, dismissing him. My grandson had floaties on and I was a little ways away because it was too shallow for me, so he swam to me with a frown on his face and we went to get his noodle back. I saw the 8 year old bullying his 2-year-old brother later. The mom never got in the water and she acted totally clueless about what her 3 children were doing. I had talked to the 6-year-old girl and she told me their ages.
Anyway, I asked the boy to please give my grandson's noodle back to him. He never apologized, just got off it and tossed it at him. The little monster. His mother should have said something to him and not me. That's the problem with some parents. They don't care what their kids are up to and then when the kids are teens? Watch out.
So I'm off to get things done before my granddaughter is here.
Have a fun day!!!
