Cole may be skilled when it comes to his actions on the ice, but his English class is a struggle and it could be the difference between graduating or not. There is a reason he finds it difficult and that his experience with other tutors didn't go well but find out that Avery, the girl he had an unforgettable first meeting with and the coach's daughter, has complicated written all over it.
Avery is trying to distance herself from a difficult situation which is how she finds herself at the same university where the father she hasn't had a relationship with for years is the coach. She and Cole come to an arrangement that will give them both what they want however the more time they spend together the more the rules seem to change.
Cole knows that Avery has been hurt and while he is willing to be patient and understanding he isn't about to let her walk away from what they could have together. A little turmoil, a few secrets and two captivating characters all add up to a story you won't be able to put down.
