Partitions peace and power Paradigms and fancy rhymes Pretty words that brutalize Proven pain and pictures of destruction Petty claims to paint perception Proud flags staked in lands that bleed Precious people that refuse to concede Picturesque postcards and plans of birthright Paid off with plunders taken throughout the night Preached hyperboles prone to lies So conveniently paper can hide the cries Packed people put in prisons A plight amongst men that parade visions Piety that claims providence over land No project nor declaration can ban Pious in name and not in practice A self proclaimed foreign prince with scripted words to distract us Pools of pallid blood that weave The fabric of the polluted land they siege Palpable anger do the pretend peacemakers burn the olive tree Paradoxical pandering of a rite claimed, a delusion and hypocrisy With deep roots will they continue to grow with ease Patterns of poppies in lost tapestries that billow in the breeze Patched up people like stitches of tatreez put together With strong hope and a heart of a feather Peaceful protests with passive pitchforks that scrutinize Parliaments police and private power that dehumanize Pick your poison, wealth that sours Or humanity that empowers No parroted words will satisfy No price can pacify Pushed progress will the public shout For ceasefire is paramount Freedom peace and promise Glory praise and shine My dear Palestine
