Asher is a single dad & a cop.. He had a thing years ago with a friend but they never dated or had feeling for each other and they ended up with a daughter so they are co-partners now were they take turns to look after their daughter.. He needs a Live-in Nanny for his kid when he is at work and his boss tells him that his daughter Phoebe is back in town and could be the nanny because he knows ASL which you need when talking to his daughter who is deaf so he told his boss ok which does not start off well but he gives her a second chance and he starts to have feeling for Phoebe and the more his feelings grow the more he feels protective of Phoebe which is sweet.. He finds ways of taking care of phoebe and also he knows when she is sad.. When he hears about Phoebe run away from he was mad because someone hurt phoebe and he wants to keep her safe.. He falls hard for Phoebe and will do anything to keep her in his life
Phoebe is a ASL Student at college.. She comes home early because of some things that happened in her personal life but does not want her dad to know about it so she lets on everything is ok but her bet friend is the only person that knows what happened.. So one day when she is home her dad asks her if she can do some Nanny work while she is home because the kid needs a Nanny that uses ASL because the kid is Deaf so she ends up working for Asher that does not start off right but ends up working well for both of them.. She becomes really close to the wee kid and they make a close bond together because you can see how much the wee kid loves Phoebe which is so sweet.. The more time they spend together the more she falls hard for Asher which makes her want to try to find away to be with him

It was nice to see that the relationship between Asher & his daughter's mum Sara had no drama because they were friends and nothing more so they co-parent their daughter which works really good.. It was sweet to see they are happy as friends and also sweet that Sara was happy Asher found someone that he loves.. Sara and Phoebe got on really well and became friends which was sweet to see.. So it was good to see no ex drama apart from a wee bit from the heroine's ex..

I really like the bond between Phoebe and Asher's daughter Olivia because you can see how much she cares for the little girl.. I liked the way she becomes very protective for Olivia and also you can see that she is also protective of Asher too..
I really enjoyed the relationship between Asher and Phoebe because they are sweet together and made for each other.. I really liked how the hero stood by the heroine and was always there for her so she had someone to lean on.. I am glad that they got their happy ending and i can't wait to read the rest of the siblings books in the Whitlock family..
