So here we are with part two of the Rival Sons latest effort released six months prior to this one. Instead of releasing a double album, something far too many bands have done recently, Rival Sons decided to split the new album in two. I applaud that. I also applaud that Rival Sons' first album in four years was a real banger. As a fan of the band I was delighted to find out that they had moved forward musically while still sounding exactly like the band I fell in love with years ago. As the songs on this record were written at the same sessions as the last album I also found it intriguing to hear if they are similar in style.
