For the longest time now, death metal has never once been lacking when it comes to excellence that is able to embody all that the sound can be. While many of us would associate such things with the older names, there is always room for those up-and-coming names should they seize the moment and deliver the goods whenever they release new material. Skelethal hasn't been a name to deny for some time, but it is now with their forthcoming third album that they're truly seizing their destiny.

It's one thing to consider yourself amongst the old school of death metal. It's another to try and carve your own path after graduating from that very institution. There are many out there that have attempted to do such a feat at one point or another throughout their runs in the dense underground, yet incredibly few have been able to deliver on that premise. Without a shred of mercy and all the menace to match, Skelethal does naught but overwhelmingly dominate with all that's brought forth for the absolute dirge of death and flame, "Within Corrosive Continuums". Building off of so much that they've done before without ever once forgetting where they came from in the first place, this is what happens when a band's evolution is given every opportunity to expand and master its particular craft. All too often do we see bands try to keep the status quo all too similar while others bite off more than they can chew, but Skelethal has proven to be a cut above the rest as with every riff, every corpse, every intent, and every harrowing experience that went into "Within Corrosive Continuums" the sort of madness that modern death metal fanatics are constantly craving for even if they don't know it. A terrifying display of intensity with more than enough of a dynamic songwriting approach that shows off a constant sense of mastery around every corner, Skelethal delivers a scathing performance that is nothing to underestimate whatsoever.

The very bowels of hell open up at the beck and call of Skelethal with all the horrors therein of the sort that is all but perfect for this kind of death metal. No survivors left to defy such power and with all the destruction that one could expect from death metal of this caliber, Skelethal does naught but dominate for all that's brought throughout "Within Corrosive Continuums".
