"A trip up the coast leads rodeo champion Jameson Stone to consider what's important in life."
I got an ARC of this book.
I am the worst at reading book descriptions, but when someone emails me and I see certain keywords I agree without hesitation. Rodeo happens to be one of those words. So I had no idea what I was getting into, but I was in for a wonderful read!
This was short, but it mostly felt complete. I wanted a little more information. Was the person in the passneger seat a child? I am pretty sure she is an adult woman after finishing, but when I wasn't sure for a little more than half the story it feels a little strange. That is literally my only complaint. The rest was trying to look busy so I could read it at work instead of waiting until I got home. It has been an hour since I was emailed about this book and I already read it. That is impressive for someone like me (terrible at starting books).
I want to know every detail of this cowboy. I want to know what events he competes in. I want to know about her ex-husband. I want to know if she is really safe now. I want to know what he is sick with. I want to know so much. I don't think I have ever gotten this invested in a cowboy in only six pages. What did Costello do to me?
Did I just become invested in a straight cowboy romance? I am as shocked as you are. I am so ready for the full length book to come out!
5 out of 5 stars. I would recommend this book.
You can buy the book here.
