Tyler is a man who has made mistakes in the past, but he has turned his life around and is now a protector rather than a perpetrator. When he finds himself in a bank when it is being robbed his only concern the safety of Jess and her daughter Ava and ensuring that those that are responsible are held accountable.
What was supposed to be a simple errand for Jess and her daughter Ava has taken a dangerous turn. She and Tyler have a past so all she wants is to ensure the three emerge from this situation unscathed and it starts with ensuring that Tyler doesn't do anything reckless but that is only the beginning.
Even though the situation that Tyler and Jess find themselves in isn't ideal it also shows that they are meant to be together. Not only are Tyler and Jess great characters but Ava is a scene stealer as well. It also gives us a chance to catch up with the other characters that we have come to know and love from this series.
