A lot of tension this week from so many sphere of the anime world. All while having more drama placed into this anime watch along with the appearance of Dead Dead Demons Dededede Destruction. Something which the subtitles are now fully carrying it on Crunchyroll because there is text that is not being translated for us to watch. The show does have a lot of interesting strengths that make me so intrigued by it. Just wish it wasn't being botched.

Train to the End of the World Episode 9
The way this episode worked as a set up, the finale is going to be a huge three episode affair. This episode was one where the train girls meet the old man and his goose boat again. It really did show a lot of the uncertainty of the world with how it's changed and the two sides understand each other a bit more. The big thing was seeing Yoka after 8 episodes and she is an all powerful queen but it's pretty clear she misses Agano even with the power to make the world what she wants and can turn complainers into custard. Also, she is clearly being manipulated. I'm glad the insanity was still there, but it actually gave the world and characters time to breathe.
Spice and Wolf: merchant meets the wise wolf Episode 9
As an original anime watcher, I knew this episode was coming. The major downfall is Lawrence from being over confident with his previous deal and then learning he is in debt because the armor is worthless. So there is some tension as all the people Lawrence asked for a loan with the last one actually telling him it's hard to give him a loan because his partnership with Holo. That did cause a huge rift in the end. It's very workman like in it's execution because it is effective in showing how desperate Lawrence is and messing with the chemistry between the two leads. Still a well put together show.
Urusei Yatsura (2022) Season 2 Episode 20
Well, talk about drama simply coming from an old man that was hungry and being fed by the other for the price of marrying the daughter that came into the family. Many years later, Lum is that daughter and she is going to be forced to marry that guys great grand son. There's tension between Lum and Ataru because he can't admit he cares about Lum and he gets really angry despite his own cheating ways. Now Lum has been taken away and is powerless, what is Ataru going to do now?
Delicious in Dungeon Episode 22
This was a Marcille and Senshi episode. The cast hasn't learned about him yet and his story in being in the dungeon since longer then the dungeon has been officially developed. From dwarf things ruins to being scared and captured by a Griffin, signs of his story are revealed. Marcille's creating familiars to find and save Senshi was very important my hilarious by seeing how she acts when using them. So much tension, but so many details put this journey.
Wonderful Precure Episode 18
I like that Mayu and Yuki are at the center of this episode. Their relationship is at the center of this one with Mayu wanting to help the precures and Yuki wanted to keep Mayu in a box so she won't get scared again. All of that not realizing that Mayu has grown since meeting Iroha and Komugi and wants to become stronger. All while the current Garugaru who is a hamster that keeps running in their tunnels when confronted. It's going to be interesting next episode when Mayu shows how much she has grown once again and can show Yuki how strong she is.
BARTENDER: Glass of God Episode 9
An interesting episode as one of Sasakura's bartender senpai Kitakata at a run down bar, not one that Miwa was trying to show Sasakura. So it's interesting to see Sasakur's ideals being challenged by someone that trained next too him and taught him those ideals. It does connect to their master who is in the hospital after working as a bartender for so long and Kitakata clearly showing a different side of bartending then helping someone's day.
So there is some interesting, yet flat kind of ideals. Also, the reveal Sasakura could have killed someone with his bartending is interesting to set up the final sort of arc for this show. Will it lead to him bartending at the hotel? Whose to say, but I have a feeling it's going to be a yes. I wish the story telling could be a bit more complicated, but at least its not that stale.
Laid-back Camp: Season 3 Episode 9
Very simple and cute Rin and Nadeshiko for seeing Sakura blossoms. So fun to see Rin interact with two strangers when picking up trash at the small campsite. Also, she made tasty pasta too. Nadeshiko was driven around by her sister to see them too. Can't wait for the group camp starting next week.
Astro Note Episode 9
This episode was a fantastic piece of character stuff before the true finale really hits. I honestly love the fact that Mira is more of an apartment owner then someone who wants to be queen. It kind of makes her the perfect person to be the queen of Hubi. Also, the character drama between Ren and his father was pretty relatable considering how smart Ren is, though it did relax a little bit. Once again, have to admit that Takumi finally remembering Aoi so they can move on. It's interesting how Aoi being able to get past it to see the Widi's spy.
The Fable Episode 9
The show was relaxed for so long, so it's crazy to see how much Kojima who has been stuck in prison for fifteen years is shaking up the community around him. From starting his call girl business and rivaling the other call girl business in their yakuza branch to threatening Misaki and hurting her employers to force her to headline it. At least this episode realized that tension and the Fable is being placed in a position to hopefully save Kojima from becoming the mess that he is creating. Just so much wild things going on at the moment there too.
Jellyfish Can't Swim At Night Episode 9
This episode certainly raised so many complicated sets of emotions. Especially with the reveal of Kano's past with her former idol group and how she was shown as the violent idol. I thought it would a situation where she was manipulated by her mother to punch the other idol, not that her mother is good, but she punched the other idol from causing the other idol group to retire. Though, the mother is still pretty manipulative to pursue everything she wanted for her peak idol group.
Now Mahiru is being coaxed into making art for her mother's group and taking time away from Jelee to pursue her dream. It does show how much Kano is like her mother when Mahiru decided to take that route and Kano felt beyond betrayed. The show has focused on their relationship after all and they went in their directions because the worked together to become better at what they did. Now there is a rift and I wonder if either of them well want to pursue what they did before hand. Was Jelee a start up thing for both of them? So yeah, really hit hard with this one.
Sound Euphonium Season 3 Episode 8
I was wondering what was going to happen in this episode because of that ending and it really caused so many fractures. Taki vs the band, Reina vs Kumiko, Mayu vs her place in wanting to be invisible and now she can't be. It's very interesting to see the cracks spread more and more in the episode from all members in the band. Kanade included who is very insightful. The cracks will change everything.
Reina may consider Kumiko a failure because of her caring more for people, but Reina only sees people as machines that are components that can be replaced. The break between Reina and Kumiko was going to end eventually because of how hard she focuses on Taki sensei and no one else is childish after all. The ending where Kumiko finally talks to Taki Sensei about the audition for next episode is going to add some good insight. This was a long way of saying great episode.
Kaiju No. 8 Episode 8
This episode was pretty great. Mostly centered on Kafka and the Hoshina relationship. I mean, the fight between Hoshina and Kafka was pretty amazing with Kafka in his Kaiju form barely able to escape. Though, Kafka being given an official position in the Japanese Defense Force after a successful campaign everyone survived thanks to Hoshina's suggestion was interesting. Though I do have to say that Hoshina preparing to kill Kafka's kaiju form in front of Kafka was pretty crazy honestly here but it does grow quite a bit when Kafka is found out later on too. So yeah, I can really dig all of that.
Dead Dead Demons Dedede Destruction Episode 1
This episode was really good for adding so many bits of complexities with character stories and the possible end of the world plot from aliens appearing and the US bombing it with a nuclear bomb to destroy Tokyo. But this seems to be a character drama based around changes. It is a character drama about Kadote trying to become a hero and separating herself from her mother when thinking about the university after not being sure she wanted to got to highschool. I haven't gotten a good reading yet, which is probably why episode 0 showed how far the apocalypse gets to see where it becomes, because we are still in the normal stages. This should be interesting.
