This week was so interesting. Some really amazing drama pieces and hard hitting episodes while others try to feel heavy and just didn't hit that hard as they feel like they should. Also, new Code Geass stuff appeared which in itself through some money wrenches into the whole week in a good way I think. I like the idea of new Code Geass stuff even if not everyone does.

Spice and Wolf: merchant meets the wise wolf Episode 12
This episode really centered on Holo and Lawrence was good once again. Especially with the new dynamic of Lawrence being around the giant Holo against human beings. I am so glad that it happened and Nora learned about who Holo is and Eneke still best boy. I think the best part of the gold heist was every party, including the betraying company managed to get out of it alright. There was a lot of heavy things going on in the heist with so many little parts.
Urusei Yatsura (2022) Season 2 Episode 23 (finale)
If there was a way to end the show, it was this way. A game of tag like how the show started in the first place, but with the end of the world count down too. Plus the threat of Lum's presence being erased from Ataru and everyone's memory. It was a huge thing with Ataru and Lum finally broke down in a way their feelings from each other even if Ataru never said "I love you". Even Karula and Rapu got together better then those two. Also, just a highly exciting episode in general.
Wonderful Precure Episode 21
This episode was fun once again, but I hope Iroha does something in a precure situation soon. But this episode is about Yuki getting comfortable in school and finding the she does like Komugi and Iroha. Yuki certainly fills the school prince stereotype to a T because she's just naturally perfect at everything compared to Komugi who is an energetic mess. Also, the panda Garugaru fight was pretty hilarious with people falling asleep and Komugi turned into a giant tire. Just wonderful chaos.
BARTENDER: Glass of God Episode 12 (Finale)
Pretty strong finale. I admit it, the show ended on a high note. The episode started with the grandpa behind the hotel in the hospital and a small arc of an author who doesn't know how to write his next book and went to Eden Hall to vent. I feel pretty happy that Sasakura was able to talk him off the ledge. After an emotional and cool time between the old man, Sasakura actually accepts as the bartender. You know, with it being called Eden Hall. This ending made me feel really fulfilled.
Laid-back Camp: Season 3 Episode 12 (Finale)
This finale was pretty great. So many great Rin moments after Chiaki had her freak out and other things. Also, the Sakura camp was a lot of fun and the Aoi and her sister got a reveal over a family recipe shot like a horror film. Plus, the return to school with a possible meeting of new camp members was great. Just continued comfy vibes.
Astro Note Episode 12 (Finale)
I love how this ended because it is rather wonderful. Mira and Takumi fighting together against space aliens in their apartment complex that is a great stuff. Same with the apartment mates that just had goofy stuff and were so comfortable together. The ending itself where everyone got what they want, even a bit more unrealistically, with everyone getting what they wanted. Ren is going to wear skirts to school, Takumi got another job working as a cook for lunch shift, and Mira is going to stay on earth to run the Astro Lodge and live freely. It's such a good time honestly.
The Fable Episode 12
Akira Sato's saving of Misaki was only the beginning of his interference between the Kojima and Sunakawa deal. The guy is too op for his own good. He really did ruin a lot from taking down other hitmen like there were nothing with non-lethal techniques to shooting Kojima and putting him in their trunk. Also, the Yakuza boss and the actual Fable had a conversation regarding where to put Akira after a year. Some amazing stuff in there with great character work.
Jellyfish Can't Swim At Night Episode 12 (Finale)
This finale was either too fast or left with a bit too much ambiguity. But the opening of the concert with the other idol group and then Kano appeared with so much stress and Mahiru and Mero got here back on mark to do her awesome performance. Kano and her mother not connecting back together, but at least acknowledging each other was great. Same with each graduating and starting their future goals. It was fulfilling but left some empty things in there too. I'm just glad it wasn't a complete mess and said important things.
Sound Euphonium Season 3 Episode 12
Really blown away by this episode, which says something because I think this show is great. This feels like the end of Kumiko's journey as she showed how much she's grown. I was happy to see her find the path she wants to take, actually talk to Mayu honestly, and then after losing the Soli position in the competition accept it and then support her band. So she has matured quite a bit and there was so much sadness when she finally did break in front of Reina. This episode was peak television. Best episode of the week and there was some hard hitters this week.
Kaiju No. 8 Episode 11
Not much to say in this episode because there isn't that much indepth. But Kafka was held in prison and then transferred to headquarters. It was great for every member of unit 3 to give Kafka their support. Though now Kikoru's father is really testing and/or fighting Kafka right now while everyone is trying to get him back at unit 3. This show did a great job to make a cliff hanger from it. Just a really heavy time as the world for Kafka just falls apart until he finds his strength to be himself.
Dead Dead Demons Dedede Destruction Episode 4
The world continues to fall apart as the alien ship sends out more ships and the Japanese continue to blow them up. After a Christmas party at Kiho's house which was a good time for everyone. Then Kiho died in a crash and that girls need to grieve about it somehow. It's such a heavy episode if which Ontan meets an alien to create a flashback for her and the Japanese government doing their own investigations. There are so many heavy moments and it's mean. Holy crap, just fantastic stuff.
Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture Episode 1 (Premiere)
Oh, the soft reboot of Code Geass was here. Oh should I say, a much smaller scale Code Geass legend where the Neo Britanian Empire took over the Hokkaido portion of Japan and put it under the protection of a magical, inpregnable wall. The episode itself was a story of two Britanian lords killing Japanese (who are still called 11's) on a whim and a supposed two Britanian brothers who have their own nightmare frame and do good for the 11's are hired by a rebellion group to take out the horrible Britanian lords. It's very simple, but solid stuff with some good mechanical animation there too. I was surprised I liked it.
