She finally remembers which means, we finally learn what happened when they were stuck in her head.
Spoilers from previous books.
Grace and Hudson are not trapped in her head, without knowing how to get out. Stuck in her head, but in his lair, they're at each other's throats. Hudson is able to read her mind, it does make her distances herself from him. This is the guy EVERYONE, especially his brother, her mate, are afraid of. Are now roommates.
Knowing the outcome, it was very fascinating to read what really happened. Grace finds journals written by Hudson when he was younger. Talking about his abusive father and trying to protect Jaxon. She starts to see him in a different light, then what people have been telling her.
While they have no choice but make due, there's a dragon trying to get in and kill them. They decide that they have to leave, or they will die. They meet some interesting people. They realize quickly that once they left the lair, they were no longer in her head. Yet they were still somewhere else, stuck.
Grace and Hudson are getting closer, where that string inside Grace's mind just confirms it all...they're mates. Knew it, yet it was just as exciting as it was the first time.
They find themselves in a town of purple. Purple everything. Here they not only fall in love but she learns she's a gargoyle. I really enjoyed reading this book knowing how it was going play out but finally learning the things that were mentioned by Hudson. While Grace didn't remember at all.
Loved Hudson but this made me love this guy even more! If you liked the last books, then you'll definitely love Charm.
