What's better than seeing a rainbow? Seeing two of them!
Still dealing with this awful head cold. Yesterday, my 3-year-old grandson said, "Did you see the lights flicker?" Even as young as he is, he's worried we'll be without power again. We went to the grocery store and picked up butter, corn on the cob, milk, roasted chicken and some freezer chicken sticks that the grands love. But nothing else. We're still worried our electric will go out again. They ate and ate and ate at my place. They've been eating really light while we were trying to stay cool in restaurants and such. I think it's just been stressful more than we realize for them. My granddaughter went to get the chicken sticks for me to heat up and she looks in the freezer and she just stares. Yes. The freezer is bare except one little package of chicken sticks. lol
The people we stayed with on Friday night lost their electricity for 2 hours on Saturday night after we left. So we don't want to stock up our fridges and lose everything again.
Hope your week is going super great!!! As long as we keep power, ours is!!!
