You'd do anything you could to keep it bright You'd feed them Give them water And treated them with love But you don't know love, do you? I can tell. Because your glow went away Years ago. So you get angry When that glow still goes away So you shake the jar You spit in it You even let them go Only to get them back Without even knowing that They were not the same bugs. But of course When they die It was the bugs' fault So that glow would go away Just like yours Dear firefly But i do glow Just not for you.
