Also, here is what I sent out on my newsletter earlier today:
It is with great pleasure that I announce that Lost Cause, Jake Ramsey #4, is finally out! It has taken longer than I anticipated to get this one out because I tied it with a rebrand and refresh of the entire Jake Ramsey series.
But it's finally done, and you can find it here.
I loved writing this novel and hope that you will enjoy reading it as well.
A few quick updates on other projects:
- Next up is The Fixer with the never-before-seen character Kirk Hoffman. That book is nearing the end of the copyediting process and I should have it out in the next few months.
- Also, The Last Mile audiobook, narrated by Eric G. Dove, is almost done and should be out within the next few weeks.
- I'm working right now on Jason Maxfield #4.
- And I've begun work on Mitch Turner #6. I'm about 20-30% done with the first draft.
That's it for now! I hope everyone is having a great summer.

A FORMER TEAMMATE HAS VANISHED.
Jake is searching for Cherry Mann, who disappeared right after he survived an assassination attempt. Cherry hasn't been seen in months, and rumors swirl around her disappearance. Jake is convinced she's been abducted and is even more certain after he's attacked by armed men.
TERRORISTS STRIKE THE HEART OF THE CITY.
The pressure builds after the attack, and Jake assumes he'll take the blame. But it's far worse than that. He fights back, taking escalating risks to meet the rising danger. It soon becomes obvious that more is at stake than just one missing person.
CAN JAKE PUT THE PIECES TOGETHER?
Events outpace Jake and things aren't what they seem. There are few, if any, that he can trust. Can Jake find Cherry and uncover the conspiracy behind her disappearance before everything comes crashing down around him? If you enjoy riveting thrill rides with constant twists and turns, this book is for you.

The way Kris was hedging told me I could get away with what I was doing.
I soon faced her with my pistol at my side, finger on the trigger guard.
She wore a thick winter coat. She looked much the same as the last time we'd met in person. It was difficult to think of her as my enemy, even after everything she'd done.
I couldn't understand why this was.
Logically, I knew I couldn't trust her. I couldn't believe a word she said, but a part of me still wanted to.
Wasn't I just reminding myself to have no mercy?
"There's no need to stick a gun in my face," I said. "I didn't come here to hurt you."
"Why do you have a gun then?" Kris said.
"You're the one pointing a pistol at me. I put mine down the moment I knew it was you, even though I'm sure I could've at least taken you with me if I'd wanted to." I showed some emotion in my voice and on my face, hoping she bought it.
The helicopter had stopped.
It appeared to be hovering on the opposite side of the structure from us, probably twenty to thirty feet back from the building by the sound of it. I wondered if Kris had signaled them to wait until the situation was resolved. Or if they'd noticed she had a gun on somebody and didn't want to come closer.
"You're as stubborn as ever," Kris muttered.
"Some say it's my most endearing quality."
"Who?"
"Where's Cherry Mann?" I demanded.
Get it now!
