Thunderheads surrounded us but off to one side was a break in the sky and a rainbow. I couldn't believe how brilliant it was, and a wolf cloud was showing us the way home. We were returning from South Padre Island from the 4-day weekend we had there. The storms last night knocked out half the power in the building where my daughter works. I couldn't sleep last night because I was worried about losing power. I swear we all have PTSD. I'm going to pick up just a couple of groceries. My fridge is still empty after the disaster of losing everything in there.
I'm still researching solar generators. I've been so sick with COVID that it's been hard to concentrate, but I need some kind of backup.
I did manage to reach the halfway point on Highland Wolf, but I got my edits back for Wolf Bound from my lovely beta readers, so when I have a chance (we're going to get groceries first), I'll work on that. Have to pick up the doggies too.
Have a super fun day! We had fun but I'm always glad to be back home too!
