Review For The Pucking Coach's Daughter By S. Massery

Blurb:

Trust no one.

I learn that the hard way after hockey star Carter Masters stabs me in the back and turns our rival school against me.

Suddenly, I'm Public Enemy Number One at Framingham State.

Just a year later, that's exactly where I'm forced to enroll.

No one has forgotten what I did.

The anti-Sydney campaign is led by two gorgeous, psycho hockey players. Oliver Ruiz, captain. And Penn Walker, the devastating goalie.

They have me in their sights the moment I step foot on their campus. Where they lead, the rest of the students follow. They won't stop until I'm gone and Carter's team faces payback.

My only solace from the constant bullying comes from a blocked number that keeps texting me.

But as much as Oliver and Penn want to, they can't drive me off completely. Because even at the worst moments, I know I'm not going anywhere.

After all, I'm their coach's daughter.

My 4* Review:

The Pucking Coach's Daughter by S. Massey is a complete standalone that ends with a HEA. This author is known for her dark, hockey romance books, full of angst and suspense but please read the TW's. This is a bully, off limits, enemies to lovers, why choose, RH romance with morally grey guys and a strong heroine. At times it is brutal and devastating but it is well written and every character is well thought out and all grow with the story. It is intriguing and keeps you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. There are some good twists and shocking events as the line between hate and love becomes confusing and unexpected.

Sydney Windsor is the FSU coach's daughter but she doesn't know who she can trust especially after being betrayed. She finds herself having to leave SJU and moving to Framingham State University which is the rival school she had let down and they haven't forgotten what she did. Two of the team are out for revenge and will do anything to make her life a living hell. They may try to do all they can to her but the bottom line is she's their coach's daughter!

Penn Walker is the goalie for The Vipers and comes across as a nice guy. He is best friends with Oliver but his feelings for Sydney are complicated due to his dark desires.

Oliver Ruiz is the FSU Vipers captain and has his own issues. His revenge plans result in a series of retaliation against Sydney but then he can't take back the hurt he has inflicted.

Both are a little crazy and determined to make her life a misery but how can she resist these gorgeous hockey players.

Carter Masters is her ex from her old school, captain for SJU and the one she sent the playbook to. He betrayed her but is now very protective of her and starts watching out for her but how will his stalker tendencies affect her. All three become obsessive and each have their own kinks. Each of them want her but she wants all of them. What will happen if they agree to the unconventional relationship with her?

"Penn is an inferno. He stokes a fire inside me, and his kiss consumes me like flames do. Carter walks the razor's edge between pain and comfort. Sweet and controlling. Oliver is hungry. He kisses me like I'm the first drops of rain after a drought."

Sydney has gone through a lot in her life and experienced some traumatic events. I could understand some of her decisions but others I questioned. The text messages from an unknown person actually brings her some peace from the constant bullying she's having to endure. Someone is watching her and hopefully it's to keep her safe.

It is a turbulent ride and sometimes you will love the guys and the next hate them. There are some very spicy and kinky scenes as hate turns to love. Do they deserve redemption after they have done some unforgivable things. Will all three be by her side at the end? Who will be your favourite?
