Unharmed by
A.K. Evans My rating:
4 of 5 stars Once again, A. K. Evans has given us an emotional, healing second chance for one of Harper Security Ops' men.
Banks is holding on to the only thing that is left that is important to him after tragedy struck his family. He doesn't expect to find anyone to share his life, so he's focused on his son. However, when Lamise walks into Harper Security Ops looking for a job, he can't let her walk away without offering her something.
Lamise is looking for a job for security. Her need is to find somewhere that she can work to feel safe and protected, what better job than to work for Harper Security Ops. She knows that she will feel safe and be protected if she can work there, however, they aren't hiring so she will need to find something else. When Banks offers her a job as his nanny, she's not prepared for it. However, she knows that if she can work for him she'll be safe.
This is a story of tragedy, healing, and finding love again. Banks and Lamise are great together and A.K. Evans pulls at the heart strings as usual with the tragedy and healing in this story. It was perfect.
