Laminated by lust, We lie together. The heat of our bodies combines to create Safety in arms Intertwined. Amongst us Exists long limbs, Dreamt histories not yet known, And a mutual muse of manhood That's provided new growth Between our legs We Find familiar future.
Sweat pools in the places They relegate to our beds. Feverishly we begin To scrub ourselves Of a past once lived in Attempt to learn what it means To be boys in love. Taking turns with patience, A bar of soap, and grit We rid ourself of flakes of skin That no longer feel needed.
He turns the tap cold- A systemic shock that Rejuvenates. With his body He shields me from instinct. I fight hard to unlearn my Need to run away from Freezing revelation. In the face of frigid flow, Together we stand To resist it. Shedding a past force fed, we Become boys in love.
