There, they are sexually abused by the guards, damaging their psyche. Thirteen years later, they decide to bring the culprits to justice. 2) An under-rated movie. The first half appears like a Martin Scorsese movie where the central character is narrating the plot. 3) Stellar cast.     CONS - 1) The second-half screenplay is tedious. 2) Entire Carol plot could've been scrapped. 3) The epilogue was needless. 4) While the first half prison-drama is absolutely chilling, the second-half court-room drama is done half-heartedly. 5) The child actors were too good and the audiences were attached to those actors.
