Lemon in color with such an interesting nose, that reminds me of a Gewürztraminer.
Light to medium in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate and a little buttery, with nice complexity.
Showing lemons, green apples, limes, light grapefruits, bitter herbs, tropical fruits and spices.
Medium on the finish with lemons and grapefruits.
This 4 year old Israeli Grenache Blanc is still drinking very nicely. Showing a very pretty and unique nose, with lots of tropical fruits.
I've had it before, and it was drinking better. Showing more complexity now, especially on the nose. Will not get any better from this point, so drink up.
A blend of 90% Grenache Blanc and 10% Macabeo from the Galilee region. Aged for 5 months in New French Oak barrels. Kosher and not Mevushal.
13% alcohol by volume.
90 points.
$41.
