The new season has started and my list is pretty random at the moment. Also generally fluid because I might just drop a few of them because there is a sense of uncertainty. I'm also waiting for a few shows and deciding whether or not I'm going to straight up pirate Grendizer U as well. Nothing to do but see how this season goes since we are at the first week still.

Spice and Wolf: merchant meets the wise wolf Episode 14
A start of a new adventure in a new town. A very interesting one of pagan variety with more people that Lawrence knows. Plus, the young Fermi who has a crush on Holo and allows Lawrence and Holo to stay at his place during a festival week was pretty good stuff. Very simple set up episode with how some people are in places Lawrences wishes he was in while also checking in on where Holo wants to go as they go further north to her home.
Wonderful Precure Episode 23
Looks like we are in the middle of this precure series. Part of that because this is a festival episode with everyone in Yukatas and Satoru trying to get Iroha to notice him romantically and she is clearly focusing helping animals. The festival worth is about the mirror stone. Seeing the minor strone and Komugi has a dream about a wolf that is going to be big later. I guess since the girls worked hard to save the last Kirakira animal and the show needed to go where somewhere else. Very cute and comfy episode like usual.
The Fable Episode 14
This was an interesting relaxation episode after the Kojima affair. For instance, the Yakuza politics alongside Fable's place in it really distributing it in interesting ways. Misaki also you her life being brought together again after the massive incident. The best part for my was Ryou trying and then succeeding in joining Akira's survival in the woods. So many awesome little things everywhere.
Dead Dead Demons Dedede Destruction Episode 7
Is there going to be an episode of this show that isn't heavy? Probably not, right? Especially this time where Kadode becomes extremely disillusioned and with her new sonic driver and invisibility cloak. Kadode does the whole light from Death Note situation by taking the lives of the people around her in her hands and is eventually is called out on it. Mainly Ontan and everyone around her do as her life just fell apart.
Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture Episode 3
This felt like the most Code Geass a new Code Geass could be. Mainly because the situations are crazy in a way that only Code Geass could be. This was a relaxation episode which meant seeing Sakuya outside of her Roze outfit and given a huge fanservice kind of situation to see how much she is binding in order to pass as a young boy. She also works as a maid at her contact Natalia who works for the governing and Ashe discovers her and falls in love with them. Not to mention the politics in the Neo Britanian Empire where the emperor Callis is killed and Sakura takes over. There are even moments with Catherine are quick and so hilarious too. Just generally good episode on such high levels here too. It does make me curious for so many things and that we can actually have downtime between Roze and Ashe leading the Seven Shining Stars and their terrorist acts.
Suicide Squad Isekai Episodes 4
Pretty light episode focused on Harley Quinn in particular today. Mainly using her experiences with Harley and Joker being hunted by bounty hunters against each other to get to rat catcher. So that battle was very short and simple because the team had a good plan. I find the interactions between Harley and the princess more interesting. How will this criminal change the princesses life? We are about to see.
Oshi No Ko Season 2 Episode 1(Season Premiere)
Very solid introduction to this season. Some explanation and recap played through Ruby's dialogue about the situation. Then there is the entire drama around the Tokyo Blade adaptation. It really was a massive soap opera kind of thing of the behind the scenes with rehearsals, cliques forming with Kanna on her own, Kanade being jealous and trying to figure out her role, the director critiquing the actors, and so on. It's pretty standard behind the scenes stuff but pretty heavy too. Very interesting to see the mangaka show up and want script changes too. That is going to be interesting.
Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings In Russian Episode 1 (Premiere)
Pretty standard sort of romantic comedy stuff with some little gimmicks. The very beautiful Alya who likes the one lazy weeb Kuze and other things. The gimmick being she is very tsundere with him unless she says the very flirtatious things to him in rusian which he does know about but tries not to act like it. Though she does break her facade a lot as the time period where both are there early and well, shell tells him to put a new sock on her leg and flustered or not, he does it which causes her to freak out and kick him. So there was him seeing her underwear too which he shouldn't have said anything about, but does and somehow unlocks more of her personality to Kuze. Plus the childhood friend is there too so a little bit of a harem thing. It's pretty ok stuff that is decently animated. Will keep this one for now.
Dungeon People Episode 1 (Premiere)
I don't get the really dismissive way people are reacting to this one. It's pretty simple kind of slice of life series about running a dungeon that adventurers go on. This episode in particular involves focusing on how Clay was trained as a thief to going through the dungeon her father disappeared in to meeting the girl Bellehera who runs the dungeon and offers Clay a job of helping to run it too. I really like the concept of this show and it really getting to the nitty gritty of how to trick adventurers moving forward too. I do feel sad about people who dropped it.
My Deer Friend Nokotan Episode 1 (Premiere)
Do you know the classic tale of a former delinquent girl trying to reform her life for the better in highschool? What about if that former delinquent girl meets a girl with deer antlers stuck on a power pole and saves her. Then that deer girl starts unraveling that normal life in chaotic ways. That is the story of Koshi meeting Nokotan that day. There is a lot of lol random moments and a lot of them are pretty hilarious as the episode continued to get more and more unhinged. I'm hoping this show doesn't get exhausting soon. But for now, this should be a fun
Narenare -Cheer for You!- Episode 1 (Premiere)
This one feels a little all over the place at the moment. It did introduce a cast and some ideas with even some trauma regarding failing at a cheer competition and other injured people. It also has a girl from Brazil that wants to be a social media star which the show kind of jokes about kissing girls even it's her way of saying hello and a quiet girl that performs parkour on her way too school. The thread of the main girl finding her ability to jump again has been pretty good and there is a good chemistry from this cast. Also, I would watch this just for the parkour girl alone, but this one has something to say with cheer girls. I want to see what it says.
