Grace finds herself in a difficult position when recent events have put her college education on hold and her mother isn't there for her. This leads her to her father, who is the coach of the North Carolina Fury, who agrees to help with the understanding she won't get involved with his players which seemed easy in theory until Otto becomes her neighbor.

Hockey has always been an important part of Otto's life, and his efforts are apparent when it comes to his on-ice performance. From the moment he meets Grace he is all in and he isn't about to let anything stand in his way, even his coach.
