powerlessness upon the destitute sustaining a heavy shroud,
waning whispers just go and go and echo into oblivion; lost in the middle of the night,
volitional voices silenced, injustice reigns, a cruel charade, aborigined abuse of power, a bitter taste,
spheres of fear with bellowed bias, riots of human weapons welded and made searching souls oppressed—hopes defaced,
between and beneath the grains of weight of their systemic chains indecency forms inequity, a tale we tell to sleep with a haunting ghost,
nevertheless, radicalized racism undermines undertones to those strains—
to continue to pose its host,
