This is a super-cute picture book for kids about an important topic friendship and how to be kind.
Todd knows that his baby sister's snuggly is good for keeping things close and safe. So, when he wears it to school one day, he uses it to carry things for himself and his friends.
Todd makes room for a model rocket, a book, a snack, a stray kitten, a jar of pollywogs, and a travel mug, as well as a teddy, Banjo Bear. In fact, it is overflowing with stuff. He just couldn't say no to any of his friends.
By the time Todd gets to class, the snuggly is overflowing, and when he gets up for show and tell, the inevitable happens.
He is very sad and has no idea what to do until a wonderful person comes to the rescue and fixes his snuggly so that he doesn't get into trouble when he gets home.
The book is beyond wonderful. It is illustrated as well as it written. Milan Pavlovic's vibrant illustrations perfectly depict the physical comedy of Todd's predicament in this funny and tender story about his new big brother and his fascination with snuggly.
This is a great story that will sure entertain kids of all ages. It could be read as a bedtime story or an afternoon one.
