The Prankqueans and Poetry Sydney are running a series of events over the coming days in Sydney and Katoomba to celebrate Brigid, the Irish Celtic Goddess/Catholic Saint.
To support the 2026 Festival of Brigid Rochford Street Review is publishing a special Festival Supplement featuring poetry about Brigid in Irish and English from Australia, Ireland and around the world.
The Supplement includes a program of Festival events with the opening scheduled for tonight, Friday 30 January at Waverly Library, 32-48 Denison Street, Bondi Junction, NSW. The Festival concludes with the Prankqueans celebrating Irish Australian female creativity in Katoomba at the Carrington Hotel's beautiful Baroque Room at 4pm on 7 February.
