Taylor & Francis off-campus access issues + workaround

We are aware of a problem currently affecting off-campus access to Taylor & Francis eBooks. You may find that if you try to login via iDiscover or other direct links that you are only able to access the abstract of the book. We are very sorry for this inconvenience. The issue has been reported to the publisher and they are investigating.

Off-campus users can still login with Shibboleth. Please see the following written instructions explaining how to do this.

Note: there are screenshots of steps 3 - 7 at the end of the post.

Open a new browser window
Go to https://www.taylorfrancis.com/
Select "Login" from the top right corner of the screen
Click to login "With Shibboleth or OpenAthens"
Search for "Cambridge" and select "Cambridge University" followed by "Continue"
You will then be directed to login with your Cambridge account
You should now be logged in to the Taylor & Francis website. Please search for the books you need using the search bar located at the top of the screen. You can search by keyword, title, author or ISBN.
