Now things are really starting to get going! While the first week back from the holidays is always slow, the second week is bringing us plenty of new music goodies.
Brit rockers The Vaccines are back with a great new album, with a U.S. tour coming this Spring. New ska-punks Eevie Echoes and the Locations have their debut album out today, and we've got an EP from singer-songwriter Michael Isaak.
Where to even start with the awesome singles out this week??? The Black Keys have a new banger to preview their next album. Pete Yorn brings new folk rock goodness, while Sea Girls and Giant Rooks continue to show why they are the next wave of great Britpop. MGMT continue to show off indie greatness with their new single, while 90's bands Buffalo Tom, Big Head Todd and the Monsters and The Black Crowes make triumphant returns with new singles.
Waxahatchee has dropped a new beauty, and Strawberry Fuzz aren't worrying about beauty with their riotous new smash. We've also got other returning heroes like Beatenberg, Trapper Schoepp, Future Islands, Judah & the Lion, Royel Otis, The Strumbellas, Suki Waterhouse, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Alex Jordan, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Katie Pruitt, Bite Me Bambi, Samantha Franks, Sheer Mag, Stephie James, The Steel Wheels, Remo Drive, Good Kid, Wes Hoffmanand Friends, Middle Kids, Jack, Sheryl Crow, GospelBeach, Letters Sent Home, Gab De La Vega, Thomas Nicholas Band and Mae Krell. Yeah, just about everyone!
And if you're a regular follower of our playlist, some of the fresh voices you'll hear this week include The Promised End, Michael Feuerstack, Ismay, Gun, The Neighbourhood Watch, Polevaulter, Rex Arcum, Okay Dane, Daniel Lima, Without Willow, Seth Glier and For Closure.
