While "Kelly" is known for small-town, western, contemporary romance, "Ellie" will get to explore a bit more with her writing while keeping it on the sweet side of romance. Emma needs to distance herself from the painful events of her past and where better than the beautiful town of Estes Park. Shortly after her arrival she is hired by Aiden as a nanny for his daughter Hadley and even though she is still dealing with the emotional aftermath of her past her giving heart wants to help both father and daughter heal from their past as well.
After the passing of his wife Aiden's only concern is being the best father he can be while he tries to help her heal from the loss of her mother. Emma is the first woman to make him feel which has him conflicted as he tries to fight what his heart wants.
Emma and Aiden take us on an emotional journey as their pasts are impacting their present. I enjoyed seeing them realize that the happiness they have always wanted is within their grasp if they would only open their hearts to each other.
