MIDNIGHT WHISPERS - P. Rayne (Releasing June 20th, 2024)
Now available on Kindle Unlimited, audio, and physical!
Book Description:
A dark, contemporary, billionaire romance featuring anti-hero, secret society and close proximity tropes from USA Today Bestselling duo P. Rayne.
I spend my nights slinging drinks at Black Magic Bar or taking my clothes off at the local strip club. After my father passed, my stepmother gave me no other choice.
But when I break free of the chains binding me to my family estate, I find myself with nowhere to go. Until Nero Voss, the youngest of the billionaire Voss brothers, offers me a room at Midnight Manor. Now, I'm under his watchful gaze and enjoying it more than I should.
I shouldn't give in to temptation, he is my stepsister's ex-fiancé after all, but the pull toward him grows stronger by the day. I fight, but I'm losing the battle.Nero is keeping secrets, though.
What he doesn't know is that I'm keeping secrets, too.

My Thoughts: 5/5 stars
Another incredible book in the Wicked Vows series! We're back with the Voss brothers and Nero is our new MMC and the retelling this time around is Cinderella. For those of us who have read the series, we get to know a familiar face. Cinder is our FMC and I was so excited to really get to know the town bartender.
What I love about this series is how vastly different our characters are from book to book. They may be brothers, but everyone has their preferences and unique characteristics. The women that capture the eye of the brothers are also incredibly different from each other. I love the variety and how true to the fairytales the authors stay.
Wicked stepmother and stepsisters? Check! A ball (gala) where our main characters meet and share a dance in anonymity (masks)? Check! Of course course there are other things but I don't want to spoil anything! Speaking of avoiding spoilers, the author does have a list of trigger warnings for the book - I know some readers consider these to be mild spoilers so I don't want to include them all here.
The romance, the spice, the intense emotions our characters experience. No complaints and I'm already dying to see what happens with Sid! While you don't HAVE to read the rest of the books, I strongly recommend you do because it's fun seeing how things overlap and come together throughout the series.
