It also earns a Pink Quill Book Pick badge (click here for more information). Sarah Northwood's poetry is beautiful and haunting, touching on topics that so many people can relate to. Here, in What's up? With Poetry, she expresses how she sees the world as a late-diagnosed autistic person, allowing us a glimpse into the frustration, anger, and joy of living with autism. Every poem is written from the heart, and will touch every person in different ways. I believe this book of poetry will leave the reader with a greater understanding of what it means to be autistic, and hopefully empathy for those people who experience the world differently.
