Very pretty neon orange in color.
Interesting nose of flowers, raspberries, strawberries, red candy, spices, apples and pears.
Light to medium in body with medium acidity. Crisp and refreshing.
Dry on the palate with limes, light cranberries, lemons, apples, apricots and spices.
Tangy finish with limes.
This Single Vineyard Orange Wine is very young, but already enjoyable. Tangy and interesting. Crisp and refreshing.
Needs a couple of years in the bottle to mature properly. Will definitely get better in the next few years.
Nicely balanced. Not bitter nor tart, and the alcohol is not too noticeable, so watch out.
I paired it with a stinky French Gorgonzola cheese.
Made with Pinot Gris grapes from Mendocino County. A tiny production of only 540 bottles.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
89 points.
$48.
